This project in Milan is based on a dialogue between the building’s historic structure and a controlled contemporary approach. Solid volumes, existing arches and generous heights define the spatial foundation. The kitchen becomes the central element: a monolithic volume in natural stone, conceived as a presence within the space rather than simply a function. Surfaces are continuous and tactile, with a neutral palette that enhances natural light and original proportions. The interiors are defined through a coherent selection of materials: stone, wood, matte finishes and calibrated details. Light supports the space without dominating it, shaping depth and atmosphere. The result is a quiet, precise environment where every decision follows a clear logic of balance and coherence. A contemporary interior that respects the character of the place without forcing it.
